Since 2002, Allison has been providing assurance services to governmental, not-for-profit, and for-profit entities. A graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy with emphasis in Assurance Services, she has blazed a trail for accounting professionals on the fast track by making shareholder in her early thirties. Soon afterwards, she was asked to lead the People Committee where she has been able to focus her time on team member recruiting, retention, and career success. She personally mentors several young professionals and works to influence the direction of the firm based on the shifts in thinking by the professionals entering the work force each year.
She has provided a range of services which include financial statement audits, compliance audits, internal control studies, agreed upon procedures and financial reviews. Her responsibilities as an auditor consist of planning, fieldwork, and report preparation in the areas of financial and compliance audits. Allison has experience with OMB Circular A-133 and GASB Statement No. 34. She also has experience with operational audits of state agencies and certain local governments while employed with the State of Florida Auditor General.
