THF congratulates Ying Wang on her promotion to Senior Manager in the Tax Services Department; Alyssa Roti, Paola Blackburn, and Elaine Sutter on their promotions to Manager in the Tax Services Department; and Jeannie Lim on her promotion to Retirement Plan Specialist in the Tax Services Department.
Ying joined THF in 2007 and has over 14 years of experience providing a variety of tax services to the commercial industry including retail, manufacturers, wholesalers, health care, auto dealerships, and professional services industries. Ying received her bachelor of arts degree from Sichuan University in China, along with her master’s degree in professional accounting and her master’s degree in taxation from Georgia State University. Ying is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in both Florida and Georgia and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA). Ying is also the President of the Tallahassee Regional Estate Planning Council.
Alyssa joined THF in 2013 and has over five years of experience in tax accounting with her practice focused mainly on large corporate and insurance clients. Her role on the insurance team has enabled her to apply the large corporate skill sets to the unique requirements of insurance companies, due to these entities having specific rules and regulations for tax purposes. Alyssa received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and her master’s degree in taxation from Florida State University. Alyssa is a CPA and a member of the AICPA and the FICPA.
Paola joined THF in 2012 and has over five years of experience providing tax return preparation and review, accounting assistance, payroll preparation and review, consulting services, and research of various tax issues. Paola took a brief break from THF to work in the private accounting field for a manufacturing company, where she was able to gain an understanding of financial reporting from a different perspective. Paola graduated cum laude from Florida State University with her bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is CPA and is a member of the AICPA and the FICPA. Within the FICPA, Paola sits on a variety of committees including the Accel YCPA Leadership Forum & Capitol Day, the Construction Industry Conference Committee, the Young CPAs Committee, and the Networking Events at Com Days & Annual Show. Paola is also the Treasurer of the Tallahassee Ballet and the Tallahassee Chapter of the FICPA.
Since joining THF in 2012, Elaine has been preparing tax filings for multiple entity types and individuals, as well as providing accounting assistance and consulting services to individuals and small business clients. Elaine received her bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in mathematics from Walsh University and her master’s degree in taxation from Florida State University. Elaine is a CPA and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) along with being a member of the AICPA and the FICPA. Within the FICPA, Elaine is an officer of the local FICPA chapter board and is a member of the Accounting & Business Show Committee.
Jeannie joined THF in 2008 and has over 18 years of experience providing qualified plan administration and consulting services. Jeannie has extensive experience training and providing consulting and compliance services to the employee benefit area. Jeannie received her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from De La Salle University and her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida Metropolitan University. Jeannie is a Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), and an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA). Jeannie is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA).
