Managing Partner and Tax Partner
Winston has approximately 30 years of experience in providing auditing, accounting, tax, consulting and general business advice to clients in a number of industries. In his capacity as Managing Partner, Winston handles all the administrative responsibilities of the firm. Winston performs business and individual tax consulting in a variety of industries including business mergers and acquisitions, IRS examinations and appeals, business succession, planned giving, retirement planning, compensation planning, estate tax planning, structuring family limited partnerships and limited liability companies. In the not-for-profit area, Winston has been very involved in unrelated business income and tax issues, including private letter ruling, IRS examinations, and representation before the national office of the IRS.
Winston is the co-author of "Tools for CPAs" and has been a frequent speaker for continuing education courses.
Winston has been certified by the Florida Department of Revenue as an expert in sales and use tax (CFST). Additionally, he has received the AICPA Certificate of Educational Achievement (CEA) in business valuations.
